Counseling

Each middle school has school counselors whose primary job is to work to maximize student success, promoting access and equity for all students. As vital members of the school leadership team, school counselors create a school culture of success for all.

Additionally, the school counselor sets up an appropriate schedule for students, coordinates the standardized and achievement testing programs, and works with the elementary schools and  the high school to promote a healthy transition to and from middle school for each student. 

Middle school counselors also do what they can to assist students with academic, social or emotional problems either at school or at home.
